  • Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) - Workshops and seminars for homeowners who are interested in learning how renewable energy can work with them. Topics include: solar electric, solar water heating, small wind systems, and more.
  • We Energies - Offers two hour renewable energy seminars on solar electric and solar water heating systems

For Youth:

For Teachers:

  • K-12 Energy Education Program (KEEP) - KEEP offers professional development opportunities for teachers through UW-Stevens Point (one graduate credit; scholarships available through Focus on Energy). KEEP also offers student involvement activities and other energy education resources.  

  • We Energies Education Outreach Program - Request a Renewable Energy Science Kit from We Energies Classroom Resources.
  • Education Guide: Teaching Alternative Energy -  A guide that aids teachers in educating about the importance of green living and preparing future generations to take care of the environment.  Sections on solar energy, water conservation, wind power, biofuel and geothermal energy.
