About the Organization

For some veterans, returning home can be just as hard as fighting battles overseas. Milwaukee is fortunate to have a number of excellent veterans’ service organizations, including the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, to provide our veterans with outstanding post-deployment services.

The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center has more than 500,000 visits annually, offering primary, secondary and tertiary care to those who dutifully served our country. The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center continues to meet veterans’ changing medical, surgical and quality-of-life needs. New programs provide treatment for traumatic brain injuries, post-traumatic stress, suicide prevention, women veterans and more. The VA has opened outpatient clinics, and established telemedicine and other services to accommodate a diverse veteran population and continues to cultivate ongoing medical research and innovation to improve the lives of America’s patriots. The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center is ready to provide health care and other medical services to our nation's returning OEF/OIF/OND Service members and is grateful to the men and women who risk their lives to fight terrorism in Afghanistan, Iraq and many other places around the world.
